Services and Packages

In a nutshell, general pricing is as follows:

Private Lesson: $40/hour and a half (~$25/hr)
Private Group Lesson (2 people): $50/hour and a half (~$16/hr per person)

Locations

• In-Home Instructor comes to your home with materials and lesson plans (Extra cost only if over +10 miles away)
• In the City Instructors and clients meet in the city of Austin, typically at a bar or cafe.
• On-Site Clients come to instructors home, located in the South Congress/Travis Heights neighborhood of Austin

Scheduling

Private lessons can be scheduled to accommodate client schedules. Instructor is available to schedule appointments Monday-Sunday, from 9am-10pm, with no lessons on major holidays.

• One-hour sessions
• One and a half hour sessions (RECOMMENDED; allows for full lesson with conversation time at beginning and end)
• 2 hour blocks
• Day-long immersion trips (typically lasting 10am-5pm)

Lesson Options

• Private Individual Tutoring
  —-  Lesson plans are tailored for your level, need, style and time allowance to learn the language. Usually the best option for beginners who are learning for practical use.
• Family Tutoring
  —-  Typically available only In-Home, this lessons involves the whole family. Children are taught separately from adults, usually in a 1/2 hour kid session and 1-hour adult session format, but emphasis is placed on family practice and involvement throughout the week. Great for families planning vacations or a move.
• Group Language Sessions
  —-  Available for groups of students at relatively the same level, either beginner to intermediate. More informal lessons, concentrated on learning to speak first and foremost. Ideal for groups of friends wanting to learn for pleasure or to communicate with family members.
• Conversation Meetings
  —- Available for intermediate to advanced students who want to brush up on  their skills or keep them fresh with continued practice. Typically best for In the City meetings bi-weekly.
• Test Prep/Study Hours
  —-  Great for high-school or college students studying for an exam or test who want to focus on specific language ideas.  Focused attention, drill partner and English explanations of tough grammatical rules.  These can be scheduled as one-time or ongoing lessons.
• Day-Long Immersion Trips
  —-  Available for strong beginner, intermediate and advanced students,   these day long trips are great ways to see and hear your Italian in practice and boost your confidence level in your language skills. You and a personal instructor leave for the day early morning, seeing the relevant sites of the town and managing your whole day in Italian.You will buy bus tickets, order food, discuss your itinerary, converse about the sites and experiences all in Italian. Lunch will be arranged at an Italian eatery will you will be able to read the menu and order in Italian. Your Italian instructor/guide will make sure you don’t slip back into English and be there as both language help and conversation partner.

Please call to discuss the pricing details of your specific plan. Discounts offered for lessons bought in bulk.

• Family/Group Lessons
  —-  Please contact instructor for individual group rates. Typically, families and groups of 4 receive a 1.5 hour long lessons for $75.

• Conversation Meetings
  —- Please contact for specifics, but typically In-City conversation meetings are $25/hour.

• Test Prep/Study Hours
  —- Pricing varies on material covered, but are usually priced at an Intermediate private lessons hour rate. $25-$35/hour for in-home tutoring.

• Day Long Immersion Trips
  —- Please contact instructor for tailor-made trips and pricing. Day-long excursion range from $80-$95 for a full-seven hour immersion (10am-5pm), making it a deal at just $12/hr.

Cancellation Policy:

Classes or lessons canceled within a 24-hour period will not be charged.  Otherwise, lessons canceled within a 24-hour period of the scheduled time will be charged.
